1. Read books on the area you want to focus on! Chances are the change you want to make has already been done in many different forms. Most of the time, you don’t have to re-invent the wheel and gaining the knowledge that you need to jump-start your life is far more effective than playing a guessing game or worse dabbling.

2. Talk to EVERYONE you know about the change you want to make and ASK them to help you! If you are starting a new business, tell everyone you know about it and ask for referrals or ask them to stop on by your new store. If it’s a new job you want, ask everyone you know about spreading the word to if see they could find a connection. Success is never done alone, it takes a village to make people successful!

3. Take a Hands-on approach. Try it before you buy it or in this case, Test it to see if it is something you! Take a class on it to see if you would love to keep going. If you’re going back to school, visit different campuses and see if you would enjoy going there. Workshops are a great way to test the waters to see if the change you want to make is good for you and the benefit is that you will at least meet new people and gain a new skill or learn something new!
